Why your hands matter
The centre runs on volunteer hours. Behind every Friday prayer is someone setting up chairs. Behind every Saturday class is a teacher who has prepared the morning's reading. Behind every iftar is a kitchen rota.
You do not have to be Muslim to volunteer. Some of our most reliable hands belong to neighbours who first walked in on an open day.
