Hero

Title. Partner with us
Lede. Schools, councils, businesses, and other faith communities. We are open to working together.

What partnership looks like

A few of the partnerships that have served us, and our partners, well:

  • Schools. A class visit to the centre with a 45-minute tour and Q&A, or a centre volunteer visiting a class to talk about Ramadan. Both are free, and both are some of the kindest mornings we run.
  • Local councils. Co-hosting community events, attending NAIDOC and Multicultural Week, and inputting on inclusion policy when invited.
  • Other faith communities. Joint iftars, interfaith conversations, and the occasional shared response to a community moment that calls for it.
  • Businesses. Workplace cultural-awareness sessions, in-kind sponsorship of programs, and the small but meaningful gesture of a halal-certified catering option at your next event.

What you can expect

  • A reply within two working days.
  • An honest conversation about whether the partnership fits both sides.
  • Punctuality, modest expectations, and warm hospitality.

Press and media

Journalists and producers, please email hello@micc.org.au with "Media" in the subject line. Tell us about the story, the deadline, and the format.

We are happy to speak about:

  • Life as a small Muslim community in regional Australia.
  • Our build fund and what a permanent centre would mean.
  • The local Wiradjuri-Muslim friendships that anchor much of our work.

We are cautious about speaking on behalf of "Muslims in Australia" generally; that is not our beat. We will refer you to better-placed colleagues where appropriate.

How to start

Email hello@micc.org.au. Include:

  • Who you are and what your organisation does.
  • What you have in mind, in a sentence or two.
  • Any timeline or budget that shapes the conversation.

(Placeholder. Embed a Fluent Forms partner enquiry form with organisation, role, and timeline fields.)

A few common questions

Is there a fee for school visits?
No. School visits to the centre and centre volunteer visits to schools are free. We appreciate a thank-you card from the children, framed and put on the wall.

Can we run an event at the centre?
Possibly, depending on the event and the venue we are in that week. Email and we will discuss.

Are you affiliated with a national Islamic organisation?
We are an independent, locally-run centre. We work alongside national bodies on specific projects when it makes sense, without being formally affiliated.
